Webflow support

How do monthly Webflow requests work without calls?

Send monthly Webflow requests in writing. There are no calls or meetings, and the pickup window is not a finish time.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Monthly Webflow support is asynchronous and written only, through a shared task board and an agreed written channel. There are no calls or meetings. Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours, and other requests within 48 hours. Those windows are pickup times, not finish dates. Extra hours are $75 and start only after you approve a written estimate. The plan is $999 per month with 10 hours.

There is no call on this plan

Monthly Webflow support does not include a kickoff call, a status meeting, or a screen share. Communication is asynchronous and written only, through a shared task board and an agreed written channel. There are no calls or meetings.

A question, a file, and a yes or no all live in that written thread. You can reply when you are free. The work can be picked up without both of us being free at the same moment.

Example: you want half an hour to talk through the homepage. The replacement is a note with the URL, the sentence that should change, and a screenshot of the block. The reply names what will change and what is still missing. That exchange does not need a calendar hold.

Send one request the thread can carry

The plan is $999 per month and includes 10 hours of Webflow work on an existing site. Those hours go to the requests you write down. A request needs the page or the CMS item, the final copy or files, and what done looks like on desktop and on a phone. Say whether the change should stay on the staging subdomain until you approve it.

A note that can be picked up looks like this: 'On /pricing, replace the first paragraph with the attached text. Use the two photos in the folder. Alt text is in the file names. Show the page on staging before the custom domain is updated.'

A note that still needs a conversation to decode looks like this: 'Make the homepage feel more premium.' Name the section and the outcome instead. The update brief is the closer checklist for a single request. This page is about where that brief goes. It does not go onto a call.

One person should send the queue so two threads do not spend the same hours twice. Others can draft a note and hand it over. The who sends requests guide is that choice.

Pickup times are not a meeting slot

Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Other requests are reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. Those windows are initial response and assessment times, not completion deadlines. They are also not a slot when you need to join a call.

You set the urgent label in writing and say what is blocked. The urgent request guide is which label to use. A failed contact form is a good use of that label. A new section that can wait is not.

For a larger task, an estimated delivery time is shared after the scope is reviewed. That note is written in the same channel. It says when the scoped work can be done. It is not a finish promise, and it is not a meeting to walk the layout. The delivery estimate guide is how that note differs from the pickup window.

The hours themselves are the time spent on the written work: looking into a problem, changing the page, updating CMS content, and checking the result before you approve it. They are not held for calls, because calls are not part of the plan.

Extra time is a written yes

Before work exceeds the included hours, I share a written estimate for the additional time at $75 per hour and ask for your written approval. Additional work only begins after you approve it. Reply in the same thread. A phone call is not the approval, and a chat reaction with no sentence is a weak record. Write yes or no against the estimate.

If you do not approve it, that extra work does not start. You can narrow the request so it fits the hours still left in the period. Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over. Memberships cannot be paused. A quiet week does not turn into a call the next week, and it does not move unused hours forward.

Your Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your own account. A new website or a full redesign is a separate project with its own scope and quote. That quote is written too. It is not scoped on a sales call inside this plan.

What you do with the thread

When the change is ready, review it in writing. Say publish or hold, and name the page you checked. You do not need a review meeting to do that. The request, the estimate, and your reply stay on the board, so the next month does not start from memory.

Send final copy. If a sentence is still a draft, say that it is not final and do not ask for it to be published. You also need the rights to the images and text you attach. Do not send a file you cannot use.

The Webflow retainer is the monthly plan this written channel belongs to. The retainer guide explains which ongoing work the hours cover.

Questions & answers

Can the first request be a kickoff call?

No. There are no calls or meetings, including at the start. Send the page, the final copy, and what done looks like in the written channel.

Does an urgent label book a same-day meeting?

No. Urgent means the request is reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. That window is not a time you need to be on a call, and it is not a finish date.

Can I approve extra hours by phone?

No. Additional work is $75 per hour and starts only after you approve a written estimate. Reply in the same thread as that estimate.

What if two people both write to the board?

One person should send the queue and set the order. Others can draft notes and hand them to that person so the same hours are not spent twice.
