Webflow support

Who should send requests during monthly Webflow support?

Pick one person to send the written Webflow queue so several teammates do not spend the same 10 hours twice.

THE SHORT ANSWER

One person should send requests and set the order during monthly Webflow support. Others can draft notes, then hand them to that person so the queue stays single. The plan is $999 per month with 10 hours included. Extra hours are $75 and start only after a written estimate is approved. Unused hours do not carry over. A new website or a full redesign is a separate project.

Name one person who can change the order

Monthly support works from writing. If three people send three different lists, the hours get spent on whichever note arrived last. Pick one person who sends requests and who can change the priority. Everyone else can draft a note, then hand it to that person.

That person does not have to be the only one who knows the site. They are the only one who decides what this month's queue says. A founder can own the order while a marketer writes the copy. The copy still arrives through the owner of the queue, so the request has one priority.

Example: the marketer wants a new blog post, and the salesperson wants a pricing sentence fixed today. They both write to the same person. That person sends one note: fix the sentence on /pricing first, then publish the post if hours remain. Two separate threads would hide that choice.

Put every request in the same thread

Send the page, the outcome, and what done looks like. If a colleague has a file or a sentence, attach it to that same written request. A side message that says 'also change the footer' is easy to miss, and it can spend hours you had ranked for something else.

Communication is asynchronous and written only. There are no calls or meetings to merge two people's wishes. If you need a decision, write the options and the order you want.

When the owner of the queue is away, name a backup in writing before they leave. The backup uses the same thread. Do not open a second channel for the week they are out. The backup can change the order. They should not invent a second list of work that the first person never saw.

Keep the hours pointed at one list

The plan is $999 per month, including 10 hours, for an existing Webflow site. Those hours follow the written order, not the number of people who have opinions. A second person cannot create a second allowance.

If a new request would pass the included hours, I share a written estimate for the additional time at $75 per hour. That extra work starts only after you approve it. The person who owns the queue should be the one who approves it, so a colleague does not accept extra time the business did not want.

Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over. A quiet week while you wait for internal agreement does not save the hours. Send the order while the period is open. Memberships cannot be paused to hold the hours until the team agrees.

Say what that person is not approving

The queue owner can rank updates, fixes, and small pages inside the current design. They are not approving a new website or a full redesign. Those are separate projects, with their own scope and quote. Your Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your own account. The person who sends requests does not need to move the site.

Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Other requests are reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. Those windows are pickup times, not finish times. The person who sends the request should choose the label, so five colleagues do not all mark their own item urgent.

The Webflow retainer is the plan this single queue belongs to. The retainer guide explains the work the hours cover. Use this page when more than one person wants to send work in the same month.

Questions & answers

Can my marketer and I both write on the same day?

You can both draft, but one person should send the order. Two threads that each say 'do this first' spend the same hours on two different jobs.

What if the person who sends requests is out this week?

Name a backup in writing before they leave, and keep using the same thread. Do not open a second channel for that week.

Can a colleague approve extra hours from their own inbox?

The person who owns the queue should approve extra time. Additional work is $75 per hour and starts only after that written approval. A side yes can accept work the business did not rank.

Does the sender need to move the site into their Webflow account?

No. Your Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your own account. Sending the written queue does not transfer the site.
