What counts as an urgent Webflow support request?
Label a Webflow request urgent when you need a 24 hour review, and use the standard window for everything else.
On this Webflow retainer, an urgent request is reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Any other request is reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. You set that label in writing and say what is blocked. Both windows are pickup times, not a finish time. Extra time is $75 per hour and starts only after you approve a written estimate, past the 10 included hours.
Two pickup windows, not two finish times
A Webflow retainer on this site uses two review windows. An urgent request is reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Every other request is reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. I read the written request and start from that label. The clock is for the pickup, not for the moment the live site must already be changed.
Neither window is a completion guarantee. A typo on one line and a broken layout across a template are not the same amount of work. After the scope is clear, any time past the included hours waits for a written estimate. The 24 hour label does not skip that approval, and it does not add hours.
The plan behind those windows is one price: $999 per month, including 10 hours, for an existing Webflow site. Additional work is $75 per hour, and it starts only after you approve the written estimate. Your own Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your account.
Put the label in the first line
There is no call to sort the queue. The request itself has to say which window you want. Start with Urgent or Standard, then the page, then what a visitor cannot do, then what done looks like.
A useful urgent note names the blockage. 'Urgent. The contact form on /contact does not send. A test at 9:10am stayed on the form. Please restore sending, and do not change the fields.' A useful standard note names the edit. 'Standard. Replace the first paragraph on /services with the attached text. Check the same block on a phone.'
Example: the homepage loads, and you want a new testimonial under the hero next week. That is a standard request. The same homepage is the page you would mark urgent only when visitors cannot use it, for example when the published page fails to load or shows a price you have already retired. Describe the symptom. Do not rely on the word urgent alone.
When the 24 hour label matches the problem
Use Urgent when the live site is blocking a real visitor action and you want the review to start within 24 hours. Typical notes are a form that should deliver enquiries and does not, a published price or plan name that is wrong, or a primary page that does not load. Include the URL, the time you checked, and what you expected to happen.
Say what must not change. A form repair should not become a redesign of the contact page unless you ask for that. If the fix is larger than the remaining included hours, I send the estimate before that extra work starts. You can approve it, narrow the request, or leave the rest for later.
Example: a customer reports that /pricing shows last year's fee. You mark it urgent, paste the correct sentence, and ask for that text only. The review starts from that note. A new pricing layout, with new sections and a different comparison, is a larger request. It can still be urgent to pick up, and it still needs a written scope before anyone treats it as approved extra time.
When the 48 hour label is the honest one
Use the standard window for work that can wait two days for a review. That includes CMS posts, copy you have already approved, a new section that follows the current design, and visual cleanup that does not block a sale or a signup. Write it the same way: page, outcome, and what done looks like.
Marking every item urgent does not create a faster membership. It makes the 24 hour queue useless, because nothing in it is more blocked than anything else. Keep the urgent label for the request that should be read first.
A new website or a full redesign is not an urgent version of the monthly plan. Those are separate projects with their own scope and quote. A monthly request can still be urgent to review when a live page is wrong. It cannot turn a rebuild into a 24 hour delivery.
What the label does not change
Unused hours expire at the end of the monthly billing period and do not carry over. A quiet month does not bank time for a later urgent fix. Memberships cannot be paused to hold hours until you need them. Cancel before the next renewal to stop future billing. Service continues through the paid period, and remaining included hours stay available until that period ends.
Communication stays written. There is no meeting to reclassify a request. If the label was wrong, reply on the same request and say Standard or Urgent, with the reason. I pick up from that correction inside the window that fits the new label.
The Webflow retainer on the homepage is the monthly plan these windows belong to. The retainer guide covers what the hours include. Use this page when you are deciding which word to put on the first line of the next request.
Questions & answers
If I mark a request urgent, will it be finished in 24 hours?
No. The 24 hour window is when the request is reviewed and picked up. It is not a completion deadline. A larger change is still scoped in writing before extra hours start.
Should every request be marked urgent so it moves first?
No. The urgent label is for work you want reviewed within 24 hours. Routine edits use the 48 hour review. Marking everything urgent hides the request that is actually blocking the site.
Can I call to move a request into the 24 hour window?
No. Communication is written only. There are no calls or meetings. Put Urgent in the first line of the written request and describe what visitors cannot do.
Does a quiet month extend the next urgent request?
No. Unused hours expire at the end of the billing period and do not carry over. The pickup windows do not grow because last month was quiet.
