Webflow support

How do I choose monthly Webflow support?

Questions to ask before you join monthly Webflow support: hours, extra time, and who keeps the site.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Choose monthly Webflow support from the written terms, not from a call. Confirm the monthly price, the included hours, whether unused hours expire, and that extra hours start only after you approve a written estimate. Confirm the site stays in your Webflow account. Pickup windows are not finish times. A new website or a full redesign stays a separate project.

Start with the work you expect

Monthly support fits an existing Webflow site that keeps needing edits. Before you compare offers, write the next month in plain language: the pages, the CMS items, and what done looks like. A note such as 'Replace the first paragraph on the services page with this approved text, and check the layout on a phone' can be estimated. 'Make the site better' cannot.

That list is how you judge an offer. A fixed hour allowance and a vague promise of unlimited tweaks are not the same purchase. Ask whether the hours are the capacity for that billing period, and whether a quiet month stores time for later. If unused time expires, do not buy a month you do not plan to use.

Ask how extra time is approved

Included hours run out. The useful question is what happens next. A clear offer names the extra rate, sends an estimate before that extra work starts, and waits for your approval. You should be able to narrow the request or leave it, instead of finding a surprise block of hours on the invoice.

Example: the contact form still fails after the included hours are gone. The next message should be an estimate for that fix, not a completed redesign of the contact page. A new website or a full redesign is a separate project with its own quote. The project comparison is the page for that split. The monthly rate should not absorb a rebuild.

Ask who keeps the Webflow account

The site, the Webflow subscription, the hosting, the domain, and third-party apps should stay in your accounts. Monthly support is permission to work on that site. It is not a transfer of the project. If an offer moves the site into someone else's workspace, ask what happens to the domain and the Site plan when you stop.

You still provide access with the permissions the work needs, and you still supply final copy and assets. The person doing the work should not have to invent prices, legal lines, or photos.

Ask how requests are picked up

Prefer a written channel you can search later. In writing, you can say which request is urgent and which can wait, and the thread keeps the approved text. Calls and meetings are a different way of working. If the offer depends on a standing call, it is not the same product as written support.

Ask what the time window means. A review within a day or two is a pickup time. It is not a promise that every task will be finished inside that window. A one-line price change and a new page inside the current design do not take the same time. Mark urgent only when a live page is blocking visitors, so the label still means something.

Put the answers next to one plan

I use one plan for every existing Webflow site: $999 per month, including 10 hours of Webflow work. Additional work is $75 per hour. Before work exceeds the included hours, I share a written estimate and ask for your written approval. Additional work starts only after you approve it. Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over. Memberships cannot be paused. You can cancel before the next renewal to stop future billing. Service continues through the paid period, and remaining included hours stay available until that period ends. You can ask to rejoin later, subject to availability.

Communication is asynchronous and written only. There are no calls or meetings. Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Other requests are reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. Those are pickup times, not completion deadlines. Your Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your own account. A new website or a full redesign is a separate project.

The Webflow retainer on the homepage is this plan. The retainer guide explains what the hours cover. Use this page when you are comparing that offer with another monthly arrangement.

Questions & answers

Should I join if I only expect one edit this quarter?

A single task that ends is a weak reason to hold a month of hours, because unused time on this plan expires. Read the hourly comparison if the work is rare.

Is there a smaller package for a simple site?

No. There is one plan for every existing Webflow site. The price does not change because the site has fewer pages.

Can the monthly hours include a brand new website?

No. A new website or a full redesign is a separate project with its own scope and quote. The monthly plan is for an existing site.

Can I book a call to compare the offer?

No. Communication is asynchronous and written only. There are no calls or meetings. Ask the questions in writing and keep the answers in the same thread.
