How do I check the hours left on a monthly Webflow plan?
Ask in writing how many included hours are used this period, and how many remain, before the next request.
Ask, in the written channel where your requests live, how many of the 10 included hours are used in this billing period and how many are left. The plan is $999 per month. Extra time is $75 per hour and starts only after you approve a written estimate. Unused hours expire at the end of the period and do not carry over.
Ask in the channel you already use
The hours left are a fact about this billing period, and the place to ask is the same written channel where requests already live. Communication is asynchronous and written only, through a shared task board and an agreed written channel. There are no calls or meetings, so a call is not how you read the balance.
Send one short question before you add another task. Keep it in the thread that already holds this period's requests, so the answer sits next to the work it describes.
Example: 'Before I send the next request, please tell me how many of the 10 included hours are used in this billing period and how many are left.'
That question is enough. You do not need to restate the whole queue unless the queue changed. If two people might ask on the same day, one person should send it, so you do not collect two different numbers.
Read the number before you add work
Use the reply before you send the next job. The included hours are the capacity for this period. They are not a menu where each page has a fixed price in hours. The hour guide explains what the time covers: looking into a problem, changing the site, and checking the result.
If the reply says four hours are left, a one-line price change on a page you name may fit. A new section, a new Collection field, and a pass across every landing page may not. Ask for those as separate lines, with the page URL and what done looks like, instead of one line that says 'use whatever is left.'
If the next request would pass the hours that are left, stop and wait for a written estimate of the extra time. Do not treat a friendly 'go ahead' in a side message as the balance. The number you asked for is the one to plan from.
Treat the figure as this period only
A balance is true for the billing period it names. When that period ends, unused hours expire. They do not carry over, and they do not become a credit on the next invoice. The unused hours guide is the page for that rule. This page is only how you check the number while the period is still open.
Ask again when the period is close to ending and you still have a change you want done. A figure from the first week can be stale once later requests have used time. A figure from last month does not describe this month.
Example: on the 4th you were told that six hours remained. On the 20th you want a new FAQ block. Ask again. The six hours may already have gone to the form fix and the services paragraph. Planning the FAQ from the old reply is how a small task turns into extra time you did not expect.
Memberships cannot be paused to freeze a balance. Cancelling does not move leftover hours into a later period either. Hours that are still inside the current paid period stay available until that period ends. After it ends, the next check starts from the new period's included hours.
Keep the reply next to the queue
Copy the numbers into the top of your own list: hours used, hours left, and the date of the reply. When you send the next request, point at that note so the order and the capacity stay in one place.
If the answer is that the included hours are already used, the next task waits for a written estimate. If you do not approve that estimate, the extra work does not start. The requests you already approved inside the included hours are a separate matter. They are not cancelled by the question.
Write the question in a full sentence. 'Hours?' is hard to answer, and it is a weak record later. Name the billing period in ordinary language, such as this month's plan, and ask for hours used and hours left.
This is the plan those hours belong to
I use one plan for every existing Webflow site: $999 per month, including 10 hours of Webflow work. Additional work is $75 per hour. Before work exceeds the included hours, I share a written estimate and ask for your written approval. Additional work starts only after you approve it. Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over.
Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Other requests are reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. Those are pickup times, not a report of hours left, and not a finish date. Your Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your own account. A new website or a full redesign is a separate project.
The Webflow retainer is the plan this check is for. The retainer guide explains what the included hours cover. Use this page when you need the number before you add another request.
Questions & answers
Does the 24 hour pickup tell me the balance?
No. Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours, and other requests within 48 hours. Those windows are pickup times. They are not a balance of hours and not a finish date.
Can I read the balance inside the Webflow Designer?
No. The Designer shows the site. The included hours belong to this monthly plan. Ask for the number in the written channel where the requests live.
If four hours are left, can I send four page edits?
Not by counting pages. An hour is time spent on the request. A sentence swap and a new section inside the current design do not take the same time.
Can I save two leftover hours for next month's launch?
No. Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over. If the launch belongs in this period, send it while the period is still open.
