How do I correct a Webflow request after I sent it?
Replace a queued Webflow request in the same thread, name the line to ignore, and send it before that work starts.
Send the correction in the same written thread and name the earlier line to ignore. If the work has not started, the new line replaces the old one. If it has started, the correction can use more of the 10 included hours. Extra time is $75 per hour and starts only after you approve a written estimate. The plan is $999 per month. Unused hours do not carry over.
Replace the old line in the same thread
A correction belongs in the thread that already holds the request. Do not open a second request that repeats the page, and do not leave the old line looking active. Write one note that replaces the instruction.
Communication is asynchronous and written only, through a shared task board and an agreed written channel. There are no calls or meetings, so a call is not how a correction is sent. Urgent requests are reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Other requests are reviewed and picked up within 48 hours. Those windows are pickup times, not a finish date, and they are not a reason to wait before you send the correction.
Example: the thread says to put the spring photo on /pricing. The campaign now uses the autumn photo. The correction is one paragraph in that thread, not a new card titled 'pricing again'.
Name what to ignore
The note has to say which words are no longer the request. A person reading the thread from the top should not have to guess which sentence won.
Start with the word Correction, then name the line to ignore, then give the replacement. Keep anything that is still right, so the rest of the request does not get dropped by accident.
Example: 'Correction. Ignore the spring photo. Use autumn-hero.png on /pricing, in the hero. The headline and the button stay as written in the first note.'
Attach the file if the first note pointed at the wrong one. A sentence that says 'use the new image' without the file, or without the page, is a second puzzle, not a correction. The brief guide is how the first note should have named the page and the outcome. This page is only the replacement.
Send it before the work starts
The cheapest correction is the one that arrives before anyone changes the site. If the old line has not been started, the replacement is the work. It uses the included hours for the corrected task, not for a task you withdrew and a task you kept.
The plan is $999 per month and includes 10 hours of Webflow work for the current billing period. Those hours are time on the request, not a fixed price per page. A one-line swap and a rebuilt hero do not take the same time.
If the old line has already been started, say what to stop. The time already spent stays spent. The new direction can use more of the 10 hours. If that would pass the included hours, stop there. Additional work is $75 per hour. Before work exceeds the included hours, I share a written estimate and ask for your written approval. Additional work starts only after you approve it.
Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over. A correction does not move this period's leftover time into the next one.
A live page is a new request
If the old instruction is already on the custom domain, you are not editing a queue. You are asking for a change to a live page. Name the URL, the sentence or the image that is wrong now, and what should replace it.
Reviewing a staging link is a different step. When the work is on the staging subdomain and you are deciding publish or hold, use that review and reply in writing. The review guide is that reply. This page is only for changing the instruction itself.
A new website or a full redesign is still a separate project. A correction can change the photo, the sentence, or the page you named. It cannot turn a small request into a new site.
This is the plan that request belongs to
I use one plan for every existing Webflow site: $999 per month, including 10 hours of Webflow work. Additional work is $75 per hour. Before work exceeds the included hours, I share a written estimate and ask for your written approval. Additional work starts only after you approve it. Unused hours expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not carry over. Memberships cannot be paused.
Your Webflow subscription and hosting stay in your own account. The pickup windows above are not a promise that the corrected page will be finished inside them.
The Webflow retainer is the plan this correction is for. The retainer guide explains which work fits the month. Use this page when the request you already sent is no longer the one you want done.
Questions & answers
Can I put the correction in a brand new thread?
No. Leave it in the thread that already holds the request. A second thread can look like a second job, and the old line can stay active beside it.
Does an urgent label finish the correction in 24 hours?
No. Urgent means the request is reviewed and picked up within 24 hours. Other requests are picked up within 48 hours. Those windows are pickup times, not a finish date.
Are hours already spent on the old line added back?
No. Hours already used stay used. If the new direction would pass the hours that are left, extra time is $75 per hour and starts only after you approve a written estimate.
What if the wrong sentence is already on the live page?
Send a request that names the live URL and the sentence that should replace it. You are no longer editing a line that is still waiting in the queue.
