  • Use examples as anchors. Do not describe the output you want. Show the model output that already represents the quality and style you are after. Three good examples outperform two paragraphs of description.
  • Front-load constraints. If there are things the output must not do, certain phrases to avoid, formats that do not work in your stack, topics that are off-brand, state them at the start. Constraints are context too.
  • Build reusable context blocks. For repeating workflows like blog posts, product copy, client briefs, or code modules, build modular context snippets you can drop in. This is the no-code equivalent of component libraries: context as building blocks.
  • Keep a decision log. A simple list of decisions and their reasoning is enormously useful context for any AI-assisted work. It stops models from suggesting paths you have already ruled out.

Before writing a new blog post, they do not open a blank chat and type write me a blog post about X. Instead, they open a saved context document that includes their site's audience profile, three examples of past posts that performed well, their brand voice notes, and the current content calendar.

They paste that context, then add the task: the topic, the angle, the word count, the target keyword. The difference in output quality is not incremental. It is categorical.
